Sandy Nugraha is an Indonesian artist who uses an anime artstyle and is predominantly interested in Virtual YouTubers.
Sandy started drawing at 8 years old, took part in a coloring competition from the "AQUA" brand in 2012, and won 3rd place. This early success gave rise to a determination to enter the world of drawing.From 2013 onwards, he learned about traditional arts. There is no definite target for this journey, but one thing is for sure: he enjoys it as a hobby.In 2017, Sandy started trying to get into digital art. Only relying on Microsoft Paint, he can only make artwork in black-and-white anime art. Since there was no improvement, he returned to traditional art.Sandy made his digital art debut in 2018 using Medibang Paint, with a color art on Instagram. As a Boboiboy fan, his account was orbited around Boboiboy fanart and other art as a complementary theme - the account (@assixian_archive.art) was maintained until 2020, and then he decided to go on hiatus for a year.In early 2021, Sandy returned to digital art with a new account (@sandy_nrh54), starting with the webtoon fanart "WiraDelima" and filled with dominant fanart from Virtual YouTubers such as Derem Kado, Ayunda Risu, and many more.His first and biggest contribution was being involved as Art Team (lineart) in the fan-game "GrenaDate: Fire in the Heart" in mid-2021. Currently, he is switching from Medibang Paint to Ibis Paint X for the first time. Until then, he used it to completely improvise anime artstyles.Sandy tried to becoming a Virtual YouTuber and debuted in 2022, until finally in 2023 he decided to return to "full" artist status due to huge constraints in streaming.Sandy decided to go on hiatus in mid-2023 and will return in 2024, when he turns 20 years old and is determined to improvise better.
